Mission Update: June 1, 2005
Hello!
Well…I was transferred a good distance away. I am now serving in the Elizabeth and Running Creek wards of the Parker Stake, which is the northern part of the mission. Many professionals here work in Denver. I am way out in the country…small towns…ranches…farms…dirt roads…beautiful. Sometimes while I’m driving (yes…I have a car…and I’m the designated driver!) I feel as though I’m driving through a painting.
My companion, Elder Greep, is from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, so I’m learning Canadian. I don’t were a “tag” I wear a “teg” and I don’t carry a “bag” I carry a “beg”….”beauty eh?”. It’s been fun. He’s been out for about 3 1/2 months.
I’m sending a few pictures along with this e-mail. Please forgive the tacky water marks. I had to download a trial picture resizer, and it puts a mark on it. I’ll try to get something else and resend them next week.
Explanation of pictures: Elder Greep milked a goat at a members house and there was a goal named “AOL” like America Online because of it’s marking on the side. I got a picture in front of the church here and some pictures at dusk. Hope you enjoy.
Anyway…I’ve spent too much time trying to get my pictures resized to send and I think my companion is now board. I wish you well. Thanks to all who have been writing. Your words have been encouraging.

Hi, i just wanted to say that i am enjoying your journal immensely (umm, did i spell that right?lol) Just referring to a comment you made previously about commitment, are you a convert or in the church since birth? Keep up the good work and hope your enjoying it

I’m a convert to the Church of three years.
Sorry we couldn’t get together before I left the area, but I’m sure I’ll be around again.
