Planning a Cross Country Journey
My mind keeps wandering off to this crazy idea to take a couple weeks off and travel from my home here on the Atlantic to the shores of the Pacific, stopping at areas of interest and to visit friends and family along the way.
Though I’m only in the planning stages, and not quite sure when I would take such a trip, you can check out my Cross Country Journey page for maps and more as the planning process gets more underway.
Being the geek that I am, I plan on sharing my trip with those visiting this site along the way. That means pictures, video, blog posts, and other cool stuff will be posted while I’m traveling. So, I hope you’ll help me plan this trip by suggesting places to visit and will keep tabs on me while visiting.
Major updates will also be posted here on the blog as a regular post, so you don’t have to stress out about coming back and checking the trip page (like anyone would…right?).

That would be a lot of fun! When you do go I look forward to reading/watching/seeing the updates! Best of luck, let me know when you get to Cali, for what would a road trip to the Pacific be without seeing San Fran?

Joel,
Been thinking about this post for a while. I was traveling for work and didn’t want that type of travel to cloud my thinking on your trip. You are graduated and as such need a reward; this is one reason to go. We don’t often get to see our own country due to how we live and work; another reason to go. We all need an adventure; enough reasons…just go.
Don’t live the Into the Wild life though.
