Remember and Renew
The events of September 11th, 2001, changed the world. We continue to grieve for the thousands who lost their lives that day, and those who lost their lives later as a result of our being attacked. We should never forget what happened that day. Sadly, the investigations into the people involved and the chain of events that led to the devastation we witnessed seemed to turn up more questions than answers. We looked to ourselves and our leaders for the correct course of action to take. We wanted justice. Many of us wanted revenge. We did take some just actions; however, we also took some unjust actions. Time and history will be the judge of how we responded to what happened on that tragic September morning.
Take a moment today to remember, and to renew your resolve for justice and your desire to make this nation all that it can, and should, be.
